Welcome to another edition of Money While You Sleep. The markets continue to thrive with another solid month. Before we get into the portfolio here are a few things we have been up to:
- Continue to work will our little man on his golf game
- Started our European trip in Greece
- Enjoyed the likes of the Parthenon, Lake Vouliagmeni, pool days and plenty of beaches
Portfolio details:
- Portfolio up another 4% to all-time highs.
Sold:
Sold full position in Starbucks (SBUX) after the huge run up
Bought
Added to HSUV and Walt Disney (DIS) on a recent correction that hit the stock
Dividend/Distribution Increase or Decrease
- Big hit on AQN decreasing dividend by 50%
2024 Dividends and Distributions
August dividends/distributions came in at $435. This is a YOY increase of 11%. All the dividends have either been dripped or placed into cash for future purchases. We dripped 7 new shares, across 2 companies. After 8 months we are 63% towards our goal.
